Private French lessons for general or exam study
Beech Languages describes French tuition online and in person for Solihull and nearby areas, as individual lessons or private small groups. Its listed aims include leisure, business and exams from GCSE to A-level. This gives school learners a local route for exam support and learners studying for travel or work a private format. Before arranging a lesson, ask whether the tutor can support the learner’s exact exam board, level and preferred location; the site does not publish a current timetable or confirmed openings.
Adult beginners: check whether a class is running
Solihull College’s language overview describes beginner French classes at Blossomfield, but its French course finder showed no listed course when checked on 25 October 2026. Treat the overview as a route to ask about, not confirmation of an open class. Check the next start date and expected level before planning lessons.
School French and the exam board
Solihull School says it follows AQA French at GCSE and in the sixth form. This is a school-specific example, not evidence that every learner in Solihull follows AQA. Share the learner’s own specification with a tutor, then choose whether to focus on spoken interaction, listening, reading or writing.
A-level French after GCSE
Solihull Sixth Form College describes its post-GCSE French course for September 2027 entry. It requires at least grade 5 in Higher GCSE French, uses Eduqas and includes weekly small-group conversation with a native speaker. Assessment covers speaking, listening, reading, translation and essays on a book and film. Check the current entry requirements and application status before making plans.
