Spanish lessons in Edinburgh
Decide whether you want conversation, a level-based course or individual feedback.
Set your starting level
The University of Edinburgh Centre for Open Learning lists Spanish short courses by level and offers self-assessment guidance. Before choosing a tutor or class, note what you can already do without preparing: introduce yourself, ask questions, understand everyday speech or write a short message. That gives a clearer starting point than relying only on years studied.
Check the format as well as the level
El Patio describes group courses for adults aged 18 and over in central Edinburgh, with online study starting at intermediate level. Its published format is eight weeks and 16 hours in groups of up to ten. If you are a beginner or want individual correction, ask how the format fits your speaking practice and check the next course information.
