Children's swimming and stage progression
The University of Bristol Swim School teaches children aged 4 to 16 through Swim England stages 2 to 7, with stages 2 to 4 in the teaching pool and stages 5 to 7 in the main pool. Older or more confident swimmers can look at its stage 8 to 10 Swim Fit and Rookie Lifeguard route. Parents watch from the upstairs balcony.
