Swimming lessons in Dundee
Compare Active Dundee’s child and adult swimming routes, with current age groups and the different calendars at its local lesson venues.
Choose a child route by age and confidence
Active Dundee follows the National Learn to Swim Framework. Its listings range from adult-supported baby, toddler and preschool sessions to School Age Beginners for children aged five and at school. Ask which group fits the swimmer’s confidence and previous experience. The current programme notes that a supervising adult must remain in the building for children aged seven and under.
Check the adult class and venue calendar
For adults aged 18 and over, Active Dundee lists beginner, improver, developer and skills-and-drills routes. Its current programme information says St Paul’s and Grove run lessons through the year except Christmas-New Year, while Olympia runs during Dundee school terms only. Check the live listing for the centre, dates and any change to the timetable before choosing a class.
